Mobile Field Bins

With the ever increasing costs of farming in general and the unpredictability of mother nature, todays Farmers are looking for quicker more efficient ways of harvesting their crops and moving them in to storage or off farm. The Finch mobile field bins tick a lot of boxes for modern farming practices, speed and efficiency. The main aim during harvest is to keep the headers working, less stopping and waiting for grain to be taken away, or headers driving over to trucks to empty means more grain harvested per day.

The introduction of a Finch field bin into the paddock being harvested allows for a short run by the header to empty into the field bin at the end of a row for example, leading to less down time.

The ultimate of course is to use a haulout/chaser bin in conjunction with a field bin at harvest. This scenario has the haulout/chaser bin chasing the harvester, which is emptying on the go into the haulout/chaser bin. Once full the haulout/chaser bin makes the short trip to the field bin in the same paddock to empty and then resumes chasing the header to repeat the process. This achieves no down time on the harvester, trucks can fill out of the field bin uninterrupted to take the grain to storage or off farm.

We offer a range of mobile field bins from 55T capacity through to 110T, with one to suit your needs. Built for strength and reliability with front axle steering and axle combinations to ensure maximum floatation in all conditions. The bins offer the versatility of in field storage combined with being easily moveable from site to site, when harvest is finished in one paddock the bin when emptied can be moved to the next paddock with virtually zero downtime.

The bins have a clear view inside which allows the haulout/chaser bin operators to position and unload into the bin unhindered. Simple to use controls on the field bins makes unloading into waiting trucks easy, smooth and safe even for the novice. Being able to load into the field bins from both sides avoids downtime as trucks can load from the bin on one side and haulout/chaser bins can unload into the bin from the other.
